A cotton button-up shirt / light jacket made from a vintage patchwork quilt. It has 2 chest pockets with flaps, a curved hem and cuffs. It is lined with the original faded orange cotton backing of the quilt. The quilt that became this jacket is made of cotton fabrics with embroidered stitching around the pieces. It has no insulation or batting so it makes for a light layer. It is faded and worn in a wonderful way, washing out the colours and softening the palette. The garment has a worn in look and feel. The quilt has been mended and repaired, there are some faint marks and overall wear, and there is some discolouration on the lining.
