This is a one of a kind jacket made by hand from a beautiful antique quilt with a red and white pattern of baskets. The quilt used was quite worn and thin in places, specifically the red pieces on top, but is wonderfully soft and masterfully quilted. The fit of the jacket is like a jean jacket with a loose fit in the chest and arms and tapers at the waist. There is a zipper closure in the front and button cuffs. The jacket is unlined but has facings made from the quilt.

To care for this jacket: I recommend washing as little as possible to avoid further wear. Spot washing is recommended and if you must wash, do so by hand or separately in a delicate cycle with mild detergent and hang to dry or dry flat. It is made of 100% cotton.
